There is still the rumor spreading that cookies can be dangerous for your computer. But cookies definitely cannot execute the following tasks:

  • Cookies cannot transfer any viruses
  • Cookies cannot read any data from hard disk drives
  • Your e-mail address cannot be found out when using cookies
  • No e-mails can be sent unnoticed
  • Cookies cannot be spyed out by other webservers

What is a SSL-enryption?

Studioexpress Vertriebs GmbH needs your personal data for different business proceedings. For example during the login process to your customer center, sensible data has to be transferred to our server. By enrypting the data we make sure that your personal data does not get into false hands by using the SSL method (Secure-Socket-Layer). This is a safe and proven data transfer system in the internet. This SSL method mutilates your data so dramatically before it reaches our server, therefore a third party cannot re-construe the data. This SSL method also ensures that the data is only received by the server which required it.

Use of Facebook Social Plugins

In our internet platform we use social plugins („Plugins“) of the social network Facebook.com. This platform is operated by Facebook, Inc. , 1601 S. California Ave., Palo Alto, CA. 94304, USA („Facebook“) The plugins are recognizable (white „f“ on blue tile or „thumb up“ sign ) or are marked „Facebook Social Plugin“.The list and the look of the Facebook Social Plugins can be viewed here: http://developers.facebook.com/plugins.

When you enter an internet page of our website which has such a plugin, your browser immediately establishes a direct connection with the servers of facebook. The contents of the plugins are directly transferred to your browser and incorporated into the website. We have no knowledge how much data Facebook gathers with the help of this plugin and therefore we cannot give you further information.

Due to the inclusion of the plugins, Facebook receives the appropriate information that you viewed our internet page. If you are logged-in at Facebook then your visit can be correlated with your Facebook account. When you interact with the plugins, for example use the „like button“ or make any comments, then the information is being passed on directly from your browser to Facebook and stored. Even if you are not a member of Facebook, Facebook still has the possibility to find out your IP-address and store it. Purpose and extent of this data storage and use of this data through Facebook, please check the data protection text at Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/policy.php.
This gives you information regarding your rights and possibilities to protect your private sphere. If you are a member of Facebook and you don't want that Facebook collects data when visiting our internet page, then you have to unlog yourself at Facebook prior to entering our internet pages. You also have the possibiliy to block the Facebook-Social-Plugins with Add-ons to your browser, for example with the „Facebook Blocker“.
